DOLLAR Academy’s prep school has raised a whopping £1200 for Macmillan Cancer Support.
The amount was topped up by £375 following the staff and pupils’ successful coffee morning, held in tandem with the charity’s national event.
Organisers Mrs Letford (Prep 3 teacher) and Mrs Montgomery (Prep 2 teacher) said, “We baked and baked and baked and baked some more. As the guests sipped coffee and tea and chatted over sumptuous-looking cakes and biscuits, it was clear that the event was a success.” Many thanks are offered to everyone who helped to make the event such a pleasurable occasion.
