LORNHSILL Academy pupils marked the end of their first term with their own Octoberfest – minus the beer, of course.
Pupils and staff prepared for weeks in the run-up to the annual fundraiser held on the Friday before the October break.
A major highlight of the day was a talent show which featured both pupils and staff, including a staff band with depute headteacher Ewan Murray on vocals.
Outside, Maths teacher Gerry Clancy stuffed his car full of balloons while house teams and groups had stalls ranging from the traditional ‘Splat the teacher’ to a mocktails and milkshake bar.
