PARK Primary School gymnastic team achieved first place in Clackmannanshire’s annual gymnastics competition, level one.
During the event approximately 300 competitors took part in 35 teams.
Park primary’s team of four – twins Kai Thomson, Natalya Thomson, Kady Gilchrist and Ami Lawrence – performed in front of hundreds of spectators and didn’t allow the pressure or stress of the competition to affect them.
The whole school shared in the celebration of achievement during an assembly when the competition shield was presented to the school for the first time.
Double celebrations were required when Natalya was presented with an individual shield by retired PE teacher Mrs Eleanor McGlashan for achieving the highest individual score of the competition.
