A FORMER Alva Academy pupil is taking his passion for snowsports online.
Donald Musk, from Tullibody, has been appointed by The British Association of Snowsport Instructors (BASI) as its new Social Media Marketing Executive.
He will work at its Grantown on Spey headquarters within the Membership and Marketing Department to improve and develop the association’s communication on social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter and YouTube.
Donald is no stranger to snowsports. He used to train regularly at Firpark Ski Centre, in Tillicoultry with the Muckhart and District Snowsports Club and continued his love of snowsports after university as a coach for Glencoe Ski Club before working for a season with Niseko Base Snowsports as an instructor in Japan.
BASI is the UK based international training and grading provider for professional snowsport instructing and coaching qualifications.
It provides training courses in the UK and overseas for aspiring snowsport instructors across all disciplines including Alpine, Snowboard, Adaptive, Telemark, Nordic and Coaching.
