ALVA firefighter Stevie McCrorie has made it through to the next round of The Voice.
During episode eight of the popular BBC TV show aired on Saturday, the first in the ‘battle’ rounds, the 29-year-old sang his heart out to secure a spot in the competition.
Stevie went head-to-head with fellow #TeamRicky contestant Tim Arnold, singing Demons by Imagine Dragons.
On learning of his fate, Stevie told presenter Marvin Humes: “I am really shocked because you come into this competition as a nobody and there’s so many amazing singers, and you never think of yourself as someone who can actually compete with these people.”
