The winners of this year’s Alva Games Shop Window Contest received awards last Thursday (9 July).
Year of Scotland’s Food and Drink was the theme of the competition and Alva CAP and Wee County Crafters won first place. Their display is actually located in the post office window as it is larger than the CAP office.
Second place went to 2006 winner Nicol’s Opticians and third was The Bottle Shop, both used whisky as their theme.
