MENSTRIE Gala Day will take place this weekend.
There will be a whole host of events for all the family at the public park on Saturday, June 10.
At 10am there will be football finals on the school playing field.
Then, at noon, the parade will leave Hazel Avenue Roundabout.
The gala will officially open at 12.30pm and guest of honour, Keith Brown, will crown the king and queen.
The band will play at 1pm and the fancy dress competition will be judged.
There are three groups – preschool, P1-2 and P3-7 – with prizes for each.
People will then have the chance to get active with sports demonstrations at 2pm, with the opportunity to participate.
A huge range of activities will be on offer throughout the day, providing something for everyone.
There will be facepainting, a food van, tombola, plants, go-karts, a bouncy castle and party animals.
In addition, there will be charity stalls, ice-cream and candyfloss, a bar and a tea tent.
Wristbands will be available at £5 for inflatable play.
Meanwhile, main event of the day will be Circus Alba.
