AN INQUIRY has been launched after a man was found dead in a flat in Alva yesterday.
At present, the death is being treated as "unexplained" by police.
Officers were called out to the property in the afternoon and carried out their initial investigations.
The matter has since passed on to the Crown Office.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland confirmed: "Police in Forth Valley were called to a property in Brook Street, Alva, around 1.10pm on Tuesday, 4 July, following the death of a 36-year-old man.
"The death is currently being treated as unexplained pending further enquiries and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal."
