Treasure hunters and keen walkers headed out into Clackmannan for the launch a three new walking routes.

Members of Clackmannan Development Trust (CDT) have mapped out Bronze (15 minutes), Silver (30 minutes) and Gold (60 minutes) walking routes around the village.

It is part of Ramblers Scotland Medal Routes project and the walks will be available in leaflet form from Clackmannan CAP and The CDT Hub at Clackmannan Town Hall or on the walking charity’s Medal Routes mobile App.

To coincide with the launch of the routes at Clackmannan Town Hall, the CDT organised a treasure hunt and the £60 first prize went to Jenni Bone and her family.

Isla Molloy, CDT Trustee said, “Everyone seemed to have really enjoyed the CDT Treasure Hunt. We had 11 teams taking part and it took just over an hour to complete the hunt, then back for refreshments and snacks.

“I’d like to say thanks on behalf of the CDT to everyone who came along to take part, their supporters and all who contributed to the day as a whole.”
