Report commentWhat greater honour can be heaped on a local councillor than a request to formally re-open a public toilet?

Report commentIt would be laughable if it wasn't so serious. A request to open a public toilet is hardly the same league as our queen opening the olympics, but, spare a thought for all those people who, had it not been for Gary Womersley and his colleagues, could have been caught short during a visit to Alloa. We are trying to encourage visitors to Alloa and its environs, not chase them away through lack of public conveniences. So well done the council for reversing this ludicrous policy.
