DRUGS raids by Central Scotland Police have recovered approximately £130,000 in narcotics and thousands of pounds in cash.

An operation by the force's Drugs and Organised Crime Unit on Thursday recovered heroin, cocaine and £39,000 in cash at addresses in Alva and St Ninians, Stirling.

On Monday at Alloa Sheriff Court a female and male appeared in private charged with being involved in the supply of class A drugs.

Denise Briers or Jordan (38), of Cobden Street, Alva, and Leeze Lawrence (27), of Main Street, Stirling, made no plea or declaration to the charges. Briers was remanded whilst Lawrence was granted bail. The case has been continued for further examination.
