AN Alloa man who was caught supplying a class C drug to his friends has been electronically tagged.

George Drummond (32) has been ordered to remain in his home between 7pm and 7am for the next six months.

He appeared for sentence at Alloa Sheriff Court on Thursday after he admitted being concerned in the supply of Diazepam to others from his previous home in Pine Grove, Alloa, on 14 November last year.

He further pled guilty to shouting, swearing and uttering threats of violence whilst en route from his Pine Grove home to Stirling police station on 10 February this year.

George Higgins, defending, said his client supplied to friends and a large amount of the drug was used by himself.

Drummond, now of Argyll Street, Alloa, was placed on a six-month Restriction of Liberty Order for the drugs offence.

Sentence on the other matter was deferred until 25 September.
