A man who stole a bottle of booze from Alloa Lidl has three months to prove himself.
On Thursday (31 July) at the town’s Sheriff Court, William Haney (49), of Tillicoultry’s Hareburn Road, admitted nicking the alcohol from the store on 7 May 2014.
Sheriff David Mackie deferred sentence until 23 October to monitor Haney’s progress on another Community Payback Order and for the completion of a supplementary criminal justice social work report.
