MCNAIR A Sauchie teenager avoided punishment for grabbing her pal by the hair and dragging her to the ground.

On Thursday (28 August) fiscal depute Susannah Hutchison told Alloa Sheriff Court that a group of friends were drinking at an address in Tullibody’s Newmills on 29 November 2013.

The atmosphere turned sour, to which Sandie McNair (18) seized another woman by the hair and pulled her to the floor.

The accused left and the police arrived, but the complainer was too intoxicated to give a statement at the time.

In defence it was claimed that McNair, of Lochbrae, had been on good behaviour since the incident.

Sheriff Derek O’Carroll admonished McNair, warning the teen, “Please make sure this doesn’t happen again.” HENDERSON A young man drunkenly branded a woman a child molester.

On Thursday (28 August) fiscal depute Susannah Hutchison told Alloa Sheriff Court that Graham Henderson (26) behaved in an abusive manner at an address in Coalsnaughton on 8 February 2014.

Henderson, of Tillicoultry’s Ramsay Terrace, was said to be under the influence of alcohol when he arrived at the property with his brother.

When indoors he called the woman a “lying cow”, “beastie slag”, accused her of “fiddling with children”, and was described as being up in her face and aggressive.

The woman managed to eject Henderson from her house with help from a friend, however he continued to call her a paedophile so she contacted the police.

Sheriff Derek O’Carroll sentenced Henderson to a Community Payback Order with 100 hours of unpaid work to be completed within three months for his outburst.

MUIR A woman who racially abused a man will have to wait until the end of the month to learn of her punishment.

On Thursday (28 August) at Alloa Sheriff Court, Nicola Muir (30) admitted acting in a racially aggravated manner at an address in Clackmannan’s Main Street on 19 July 2013.

Sheriff Derek O’Carroll deferred sentence further until 25 September so as Muir, of Clackmannan’s Lochies Road, could be dealt with by Sheriff David Mackie.

MCINTYRE An Alloa man resisted arrest by attempting to run away and struggling violently with two constables.

On Thursday (28 August) at the town’s Sheriff Court, Edward McIntyre (30), of Katrine Court, pleaded guilty to lashing out forecfully with his arms and legs in an attempt to break free from the PCs’ grip in Alloa’s Hillcrest Drive on 23 July 2014.

Sheriff Derek O’Carroll adjourned sentencing until 25 September for the preparation of a criminal justice social work report.

RENNIE A young man has admitted acting in an aggressive manner.

On Thursday (28 August) at Alloa Sheriff Court, Ryan Rennie (22) pleaded guilty to shouting, swearing, uttering threats of violence, challenging a man to a fight and repeatedly striking a door at an address in Tullibody’s Dovecot Road on 14 July 2014.

Sheriff Derek O’Carroll deferred sentence on Rennie, of Tullibody’s Carseview, further until 5 November.
