A MAN who attacked three constables, a police sergeant and a woman will have to await the outcome of a psychiatric assessment for punishment.
On Thursday (4 September) at Alloa Sheriff Court, Dean Allen (29) admitted acting in an aggressive manner by shouting, swearing and uttering threats of violence at Stirling police station on 5 July 2014.
Allen, of the town’s McKinlay Crescent, pleaded guilty to repeatedly attempting to bite, kick, headbutt and spit on two male PCs, a female PC and a sergeant.
The 29-year-old also admitted assaulting a woman in Alloa’s Argyll Street on 31 July 2014 by punching her on the head causing her to fall on the ground, seizing and pulling her by the hair, and stamping on her head to her injury.
Sheriff Derek O’Carroll deferred sentence further until 25 September to await the availability of a previously ordered psychiatric report.
