AN ALLOA teenager has denied allegations of theft, acting in a threatening and abusive manner and assaulting a policeman earlier this year.
The 19-year-old appeared at Alloa Sheriff Court on Monday (17 November) in respect of three separate charges.
On 17 May 2014, he is accused of entering an insecure vehicle in Sunnyside Court, Alloa, before stealing a golf ball retriever, a quantity of CDs and mobile phone chargers.
Later, he is charged with behaving in a threatening and abusive manner while travelling between Alloa and Stirling, in that he allegedly shouted, swore and uttered threats of violence.
And while in Stirling, on St Ninian’s Road, he is accused of assaulting a police officer in the execution of his duty by striking him on the head.
The teen has denied all three charges and is expected to face trial on 2 December.
