A TILLICOULTRY man is to be sentenced next month after pleading guilty to attacking his ex-partner on New Year’s Day last year.
Tony Ballantyne (27), of Weavers Way, appeared at Alloa Sheriff Court on Thursday (8 January) on two charges.
He admitted to spitting on the woman on 1 January 2014 at an address in Sauchie.
He also accepted that he acted in an abusive manner when he sent threatening text messages to her on 17 May 2014.
Ballantyne was due to be sentenced last Thursday but Sheriff David Mackie deferred disposal of the case for the completion of reports.
He has been placed on bail and is to re-appear in court on 5 February.
