AN ALLOA man has denied a charged of brandishing a knife in public.
The 21-year-old pleaded not guilty when he appeared from custody at Alloa Sheriff Court on Monday (19 January).
He faces a charge of acting in a threatening manner by shouting and uttering threats of violence while in possession of a knife.
He also alleged to have assaulted a woman by ‘presenting a knife at her’.
The incident is said to have taken place on 27 October 2013, when the accused was 19 years old.
A trial date is scheduled for 3 February.
