A SAUCHIE man has pleaded not guilty to carrying out a brutal assault on his partner shortly before Christmas last year.
The 24-year-old appeared at Alloa Sheriff Court on Monday (26 January) to deny the assault charge before him.
It is alleged that on 21 December, 2014, he seized his partner by the hair, pushed her on the body causing her to fall to the floor before striking her on the head and repeatedly kicking her on the head and body to her injury.
A trial date has been set for 24 June with a further pre-trial hearing on 18 May.
