A TULLIBODY man has appeared at Alloa Sheriff Court on a number of charges including sexual assault and spitting on a child’s head.

The 47-year-old is alleged to have attended a neighbour’s house on Saturday (14 February) and acted in a threatening and abusive manner by shouting, swearing and repeatedly hitting a door with a mop.

He is then accused of offering to supply cannabis to one occupant and sexually assaulting another by placing his hand on her knee and touching her thigh.

It is further alleged that he assaulted an 11-year-old girl by spitting on her head.

The accused denied the charges when he appeared from custody at Alloa Sheriff Court on Monday (16 February).

His bail application was granted and a trial date has been set down for 20 July with an intermediate diet on 6 July.
