FOUR men have denied carrying out a violent attack on three others at a flat in Tillicoultry just over two weeks ago.

A 24-year-old man from Alloa and three men from Tillicoultry, aged 26, 24 and 17, all appeared at Alloa Sheriff Court on Monday (16 February).

The group are alleged to have launched the assault on the town’s High Street on 30 January.

While acting together they are accused of acting in a threatening and abusive manner by attending the property uninvited before attempting to gain entry by force.

They are alleged to have assaulted one victim by punching and kicking him to the head and body repeatedly, to his injury, while another man was allegedly kicked, bitten and punched to the head and body repeatedly, to his injury.

The third victim was also alleged to have been punched and kicked to the head and body repeatedly, to his injury.

The 26-year-old from Tillicoultry also faces two additional charges of possessing amphetamine and diazepam on 31 January at Stirling Police Station.

Sheriff Gillian Wade ordered that the teenager be released on bail while the three others were remanded in custody until the trial.

All four will re-appear at Alloa Sheriff Court on Monday, 23 February, with the trial scheduled for Wednesday, 25 February.
