AN ALLOA woman will appear in court next month charged with embezzling almost £1000 from a school PTA.
The case against the 28-year-old was heard on Monday (15 June) at Alloa Sheriff Court.
Although the accused did not appear in person, she submitted a letter asking the prosecution be continued without plea for four weeks.
It is alleged that, between 18 September 2013 and 26 March 2014, she embezzled £972.80 during the course of her role as treasurer of a parent teacher association.
The accused has been ordained to appear at the town court on 13 July to plead.
