A Dollar Academy lass knocked back a Hollywood star.

Academy Award-nominated James Franco has jokingly warned parents to keep their teens locked up after denying he chatted up a Clackmannanshire schoolgirl.

Lucy Clode (17) has leaked conversations supposedly shared with the 127 Hours actor online and via text messages.

Franco (35) allegedly introduced himself via photo-sharing site Instagram on 1 April through a series of messages saying ‘Hi’, ‘Where do you live?’ and ‘NYC?’ The Dollar teenager then replied that she was in the Big Apple with her mum as an early 18th birthday present – which she will celebrate in May.

The Spider-Man star was quick to ask where she was staying, whether she had a boyfriend and requested her number.

An unsure Lucy text, “April fools was an hour ago though.” Franco replied with a picture and once again pressed the 17-year-old to meet him.

The no-nonsense teen decided against it and text, “I’ll come back when I’m 18”.

Franco replied, “If you don’t want to meet text me when you do”.

Before ending the conversation, Franco sent another selfie but this time with a piece of paper with Lucy’s name written on it.

It is believed that the two met at an autograph signing outside Franco’s Of Mice & Men Broadway show.

Franco supposedly spotted the young blonde taking photos and asked her to upload them to Instagram and tag him.

Via that, the pair would go on to start the online convo that has led to the now-famous rejection.

Franco has since taken to Twitter to debunk the story as a joke, tweeting, “I'M NOT! I HOPE PARENTS KEEP THEIR TEENS AWAY FROM ME. Thank you” - with a link to an Instagram photo that has since been removed.
