IT was a clean sweep for Dollar Academy cadets at the National First Aid Competition near York recently.
The competition took place at Strensall Camp near York over the weekend of September 24 and 25 and the Dollar team, which had always performed brilliantly, scooped the CCF National Trophy, won the Inter-Services Competition and the Grand prior.
Leading the team was CSgt Kathryn Scougall, she was joined by CSgt Catriona Ferguson, CCpl Nicola Henson, LCpl Beth Logan, CSM Darwin Douglas and SSgt Emma Rattray.
Catriona achieved the highest individual score with an impressive 39/40.
The young adult team also came a respectable third in the Young Adult competition.
Team manager SMI Tracy Scott said: “This is a tremendous result for both teams.
“It made the weeks and months of training, and getting covered in blood time and time, again all worthwhile.”
