NICHOL WHEATLEY LIVE was a success for Dollar Museum, which invited the artist for a painting demonstration earlier this month.
More than 100 people turned up at Dollar Academy's Music Auditorium on March 9 for the event, which saw the artist painting onto the final canvas a Loch Lomond scene.
He had originally photographed it and sketched the colours on before putting the finishing touches on and talking the audience through the creative process.
Claudie Smith was the lucky winner of the raffle, taking home the prize of a one-off Wheatley print.
The raffle raised £1,000 for the museum with thanks going to Nichol for the wonderful opportunity, the museum committee for their help in running the event and everybody who came along.
