Missing Torbrex man confirmed dead
MISSING Torbrex man Max Aitken was found dead in Edinburgh, police have now confirmed.
The 41-year-old went missing from Forth Valley Royal Hospital in Larbert on May 16.
Officers then issued two separate appeals to trace him, as concerns for his welfare continued.
However, Mr Aitken's body was found at Portobello Beach on May 29.
Police Scotland have asked that the privacy of the his loved-ones be respected.
A spokesperson added: "Our thoughts are with his family at this time."
