THREE women held a successful fundraising event at the Stirling Iceland in aid of Alzheimer Scotland recently.
Audrey Melrose, held and in-store collection along with Ann and Rebecca Brown at the store, and were grateful for the response from the public on the day.
Iceland has been sponsoring Alzheimer Scotland for the last two years and has an annual fundraising week.
Audrey said: "We were very grateful for the generosity of customers of the Iceland store. The money will make a huge difference to the lives of people who have all kinds of dementia as well as their families and we would like to thank everyone who gave us their support.
"Rebecca is 15 years old and attends Dunblane High School. It was lovely to have the help of a young contributor to such a worthwhile cause. I hope she continues to give support in the years to come."
She added: "So many people are touched by someone who has dementia. Lots of information that can help people who are affected by dementia is available from local offices of Alzheimer Scotland and from their web site."
