POLICEin Forth Valley are appealing for information to help trace a woman reported missing from Stirling.

Rodel Nicol was last seen in the Randolphfield area at around 2pm on Thursday, April 18, and has links to the Parkside Court area of Plean.

Since then, the 40-year-old has not returned home or been in contact with any family or friends and concern is now growing for her welfare.

Anyone who knows Rodel's current whereabouts is asked to come forward.

She is described as white, around 5ft 6ins tall with long brown hair which she often wears tied in a ponytail. When last seen she was wearing a dark blue jacket, light blue denim jeans, white trainers and was carrying a dark coloured rucksack.

Inspector Anton Stephenson, from Stirling Police Station, said: "Given the length of time since Rodel was last seen, we are eager to locate her as soon as possible to ensure she is alright.

"Anyone who believes they have seen her since Thursday afternoon, or knows where she currently is, should contact police immediately.

"I would also ask that Rodel get in touch to confirm with us that she is safe."
