A MUM and dad from Tullibody got their own little Christmas cracker when the newest member of their family was born on Friday.
Lynsey and Donald MacAskill were delighted when baby Jamie finally made his entrance on Christmas Day - 10 days after his due date.
Lynsey, a teacher at Alloa Academy, told the Advertiser, "He was 10 days late and I was due to be taken in on Boxing Day to be induced.
"The contractions started on Christmas Day at about 2pm but it wasn't until just after 5pm we went to the hospital.
"We were barely in for two hours when he arrived."
The bouncing baby boy weighed in at a healthy 10lbs 1oz and, according to his mum, is the double of his older brother Lewis (2).
Lynsey said, "He is great, he looks like his brother - a wee cutie."
