Ghostbusters Jaki McLean and Kristiane Rodgerson.
TWO Wee County ghostbusters who recently spent a night underground in Edinburgh’s world-famous 18th century vaults say their paranormal investigations went well.
Scotland’s answer to Mulder and Scully, Clackmannan’s Jaki McLean and Alloa’s Kristiane Rodgerson, are part of the paradox paranormal investigations team.
Their latest case saw them delve into the dark and spooky underbelly of the nation’s capital, where they say they uncovered a plethora of paranormal activity using K2 and EMF meters - devices used in their research.
“It is great and gives you a real buzz,” Jaki said of going out on an investigation. “We are out there trying to validate what we believe in.”
She added, “We think people are a soul in a physical body and that after death that soul will go to its rightful place.”
The pair are well aware some people will find the whole idea of paranormal investigations a bit barmy, but insist they have had genuine spiritual experiences, and recommend folk shouldn’t knock it until they have tried it.
Kristiane said she had an experience which had a strong impact on her when she was at the vaults in Edinburgh.
“I don’t usually go on the Ouija board but I wanted to do it this time.
“There were four of us on it and we got a young girl through, called Lucy - a spirit who came out to play.”
The pair go on investigations once a month with the Bo’ness based investigations team. Their next assignment will take them to Scotland’s secret bunker, near St Andrews.
