AN internet feud has led to four teenagers from an Alloa gang being charged after going on the rampage in Clackmannan on Wednesday.
The youths, aged between 13 and 15, went to the village armed with sticks and bats and assaulted innocent youngsters and scrawled YBR - the initials of the Young Bowrie Rules gang - on walls.
Charges faced by the four include assault, vandalism, possession of an offensive weapon and trespassing on a railway.
Community constable Craig Hamilton said carrying weapons and intending to commit violence was unacceptable.
He added, “I would like to point out the cowardly actions of these boys did not go un-noticed, with one of the males responsible now in secure residential care.
“I hope that Clackmannan Community Constable Ian Moffat and myself have proved that if any other persons behave in a similar manner, you will be quickly identified, traced and dealt with.”
