POLICE are seeking help from the public to trace a missing Denny man who was sighted in Tillicoultry.

David Reid (47) was last seen leaving his home in Denny around 6.35am on Friday (July 27) as he left for work in the Falkirk area.

Inspector Mandy Paterson said, "We have a confirmed sighting of him the following morning at the Premier Store in Tillicoultry's High Street on Saturday around 11.15am. David's family are growing increasingly concerned as it is out of character for him to go missing. He is not responding to calls and texts from his family."

David is described as being around 5'11" tall, of average build, with short white hair.

He was last seen wearing a black leather jacket with a blue and grey stripe down the sleeves and grey hood, dark trousers, a polo shirt and black shoes.

He is also believed to be driving a grey Vauxhall Astra van with the registration number A17 XSR.

Inspector Paterson added, "We are keen to hear from anybody who may have seen David or the van he is driving."

Anyone with information should contact Central Scotland Police on 01786 456000.
