Clackmannanshire Cancer Support Group has blossomed nicely.

Members recently enjoyed an evening of flower arranging at the Community Healthcare Centre in Sauchie - just one of the many activities on offer throughout the year to those who have been affected in some way by cancer.

Marie Ross, the group's chairperson, said, "We had a really good night. It was not only relaxing but also a great laugh - I didn't realise that flower arranging could be so entertaining." Using 6920 awarded by the Big Lottery Fund the group intend to arrange a varied programme of stimulating and therapeutic activities. They also plan to visit the Scottish Parliament in the New Year.

Clackmannanshire Cancer Support Group meets every Friday night at the Community Healthcare Centre in Sauchie, 6-8pm. Everyone welcome - whether a sufferer, carer, family member or friend - to chat, discuss issues of concern or simply just to meet others in a similar situation.
