Appeal for missing Alloa man
POLICE are seeking the public's help in tracing a man missing from the Alloa area.
George McDonald (51) was last seen at his home in Alloa around 2pm on Monday (31 December).
Inspector Charlie Mitchell said, "George was last seen within his home address in Alloa on Monday around 2pm.
"George's family are growing increasingly concerned as it is out of character for him to go missing. George may appear confused or disorientated if he is without his medication and he may require medical assistance.
"He does not have access to a vehicle and is not responding to calls and texts from his family."
George is described as being around 5'8" tall, of average build, with short grey hair. He was last seen wearing a black padded jacket, dark blue jeans, light coloured boots.
Inspector Mitchell said, "We are keen to hear from anybody who may have seen George. He is thought to have been in the Dollarbeg area of Clackmannanshire over the New Year period."
Anyone with information about either man should contact Central Scotland Police on 01786 456000 or information can be given anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
