Alloa Ludgate Church: For the next two weeks the Rev. Carol Anne Parker will be away on holiday. During this time worship at Ludgate Church will be led by the worship team and the Rev. John Shone and the Rev. Sang Cha will be covering pastoral issues and funeral arrangements. Tomorrow (Thursday) the church is supporting The Gate Foodbank with their Trolley Drop at ASDA supermarket. August will be a busy month in the church, with the summer holiday club starting on 4 August which will include five afternoons of fun for primary age children. Menstrie Parish Church: Rev L Mack conducted worship and her address was “An Awesome God”. In Isaiah 6 it describes how Isaiah felt when he saw God. He was filled with respect, fear and awe. As we really notice the wonders of our world and how small and fragile we are,we have the reassurance of the presence of the Holy Spirit. Bible readings were from Psalm 139 and Isaiah 6:1-8. Sauchie & Fishcross U F Church: Last Sunday morning, Rev Graham Brown spoke on “The Need to Walk in the Light”. The Bible Reading was part of 1 John. At the Evening Service, we thought about “Worshipping the Redeemer”, with the Bible Reading being Revelation chapter 5. The Bible Study and Prayer meeting meets on Wednesday from 7 until 8.30pm. On Sunday, services will take place at 11am and 6.30pm. There will be a short meeting of the Kirk Session after the Morning Service.
