A fantastic time was had at Marchglen Care Home fun day on Saturday (9 August).
Visitors enjoyed a range of entertainment including Alloa Pipe Band, a Scottish themed disco, a bouncy castle, face painting and more.
The event at the Fishcross-based home raised £825 and local MP Gordon Banks was delighted to go along and show his support.
He said, “I have visited Marchglen Care Home in the past, and I never fail to be impressed by the obvious dedication of the staff and the excellent care that they provide to residents. This is a wonderful facility that is situated in beautiful surroundings.
“The fun day looked to be very successful and was extremely well-attended. Even the weather behaved itself for most of the day.
“I thoroughly enjoyed myself and was glad to support the event.” Marchglen service manager Tanya Taylor-Smith said everyone had a fantastic time and that it is always wonderful when the local community comes together to support the events.
She added, “I would like to thank all our staff for their hard work in organising the day and everyone who attended including our local MP, Mr Banks, who is always so supportive of the innovative support we provide here at Marchglen. We are so pleased that the day was once again a huge success.”
