A local caravan and camping park has been named Scottish campsite of the year.
Witches Craig Caravan and Camping Park in Blairlogie is the best Scottish place for pitching a tent, and received the AA Campsite of the Year 2015 Scotland Award. The beautifully-maintained park, which is run and developed by the Dewar family, is situated at the foot of the Ochil Hills.
Veda Dewar, manager of the camping park, commented on winning the award, saying: “I am absolutely delighted. I was speechless when I first looked at the email we received from the AA and had to read it a few times to make sure.
“We had a great season and I am looking forwards to the next one.” The AA selected the park because it is well-maintained and has been improving year-after-year, recently introducing WiFi access alongside a new garden area as well as a new security barrier – all in line with customer expectations.
