Earlier today (Thursday 25 June), Brook Street (B908), was closed between Collyland Roundabout and Alva after fuel was leaking onto the surface following a crash involving two cars.
The incident happened around 12.15pm near the council's Westhaugh Gypsy/Travellers Site when a Volkswagen Polo collided with a Nissan Micra.
A Police Scotland spokesperson told the Advertiser: “Police in the Forth Valley responded to a collision at around 12.30pm on 25 June.
“Inquiries are ongoing into the incident.” The section of the road was blocked-off by police from around 12.35pm and the road was re-opened for regular traffic at around 1.45pm.
