A cyclist was rushed to Forth Valley Royal Hospital with serious injuries after a collision with a car.
The accident happened on the A908 between Fishcross and Tillicoultry at the junction of Blackfaulds Street during the early hours of Monday morning (18 August).
A Police Scotland spokesman confirmed emergency crews were called to the scene at around 5.35am.
The driver of the Ford car emerged unhurt, however the 39-year-old cyclist was transported to FVRH with serious injuries - although not said to be life threatening.
The road was closed for seven-and-a-half hours following the crash while investigation work was carried out.
Anyone who may have witnessed the incident or was in the area around that time is being urged to contact the Clackmannanshire community policing team on 101 or to call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
