Clackmannanshire Scouts are set to deliver Christmas post everywhere across the Wee County, with the exception of Alloa, this December.

Residents may purchase the Scout’s stamps, which are priced at 30p each with no complicated size restrictions, in a range of shops around the various towns of the county from this Friday (21 November) and the closing date for posting is 5pm Thursday (18 December).

John Spruce, scout post coordinator for Clackmannanshire Scouts, said: “For almost 25 years, scouting has been helping people out during the Christmas period and delivering Christmas post.

“This activity is a great fundraising scheme as well as been of real benefit to our community.

“The Scout Post in Clackmannanshire has been very successful and we are hoping that the general public will be supporting us again this year.

“We would like to thank all those who support us in this venture, especially the shops selling our stamps”.
