A Sauchie church received a cash boost from a national charity last weekend.
Sauchie and Coalsnaughton Parish Church’s finance group accepted a £10,000 cheque from the Big Lottery Fund’s Awards for All Scotland grant, which is aimed at helping small groups.
The money was used to fit a new kitchen and ramp at the hall attached to the church.
The newly-fitted kitchen was unveiled on Saturday (22 November) at the Church Fair, where the sum of £2,150 was raised for the church funds.
