POLICE are appealing for witnesses following a number of vandalism incidents in Clacks recently.
Officers are investigating a handful of complaints of windows being smashed in cars and homes.
Between Thursday and Friday, 8-9 January, a motor car had its windscreen damaged in Carseview Tullibody.
Then, also on Friday 9 January, two house windows were broken on Queen Street, Alva.
The following night a car was stolen from Newmills, Tullibody while on Sunday, 11 January, a flat window on Branshill Park Sauchie was broken.
These incidents came after it was reported a shop window in Mill Street was smashed overnight between 2-3 December; while another car was vandalised in Bedford Court, Alloa, between 31 December and 1 January.
Police are urging anyone who could aid their investigations to come forward.
Community Inspector Charlie Mitchell said: “Enquiries into these matters are very much ongoing, should anyone have any information in relation to these incidents I would ask that they contact Police Scotland on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
