Two local groups have benefited in the latest round of National Lottery funding from Awards For All Scotland.
Some 131 organisations shared over £1 million in grants, including Sauchie Community Group and Simply Wee County Catering.
The Sauchie organisation will use their award of £10,000 to provide a year-long programme of public events for local people.
Meanwhile, Simply Wee County Catering has been awarded £7,750 for a range of support designed to improve their organisation including a business plan, marketing, IT equipment, leadership training and setup costs.
An Awards for All spokesperson, said: “Today we are announcing over £1 million that will help communities from across Scotland set up and develop projects run for and by local people. What is clear is the smallest amount of funding can often make the biggest difference to people’s lives. All of these grants are a great way to show the variety of projects that can be funded through Awards for All for people of all ages.”
