ONCE again laughter and squeals of delight could be heard in the area of the Sauchie Resource Centre as the Sauchie Community Group held an Easter Extravaganza for the community on Sunday.

A very successful Easter Egg Hunt was followed by face painting, fun time in the craft tent making masks, Easter baskets and more.

Then there was the petting zoo to see the chicken, duck, a snake, a tarantula and more critters, along with a visit from the Easter Bunny and lively music kept everyone in great spirits in the sunshine.

Tombola stalls were available for treasured purchases, and afterwards a hot bowl of soup and a sandwich was very welcomed by those attending.

The event was free to the public and was made possible by funding from The Lottery's Awards For All, volunteers from the Sauchie Community Group, volunteers from the Youth Volunteer Organization of Police Scotland, and the attendance and wonderful participation of the local community.

Sauchie Community Group wanted to say a big thank you to everyone involved.
