CRAIGBANK Primary School pupils enjoyed a visit from the SSPCA earlier this term in their bid to be animal-friendly citizens.
The Pupil Council at the school put out an appeal for donations of blankets, towels and newspapers as bedding for sick and injured animals at the National Wildlife Rescue Centre in Fishcross.
Lee Williams, from the SSPCA, came into Craigbank to visit all the school’s classes and receive the many bags donated as well as to thank members of the Pupil Council.
A school spokesperson said: “Many thanks from the school to everyone who donated to this appeal.”
