A SAUCHIE family that got into the festive spirit raised a whopping £1,162.31 for Strathcarron Hospice.
As reported previously, Denis Hinchliffe, at 32 Burnbrae, once again decorated his property to raise funds for the charity.
His son Sandy told the Advertiser: "We want to thank everyone for all the nice comments. We can hardly believe how generous everyone has been, especially as lights were only switched on the week before Christmas.
"We hope everyone had a great Christmas and all the best for 2017."
