WEST End star Gregor Stewart will be shaking his Fifty Shades of sexy at the Edinburgh Fringe.

The former Alva Academy pupil has a starring role in ‘50 Shades! The Musical. The Original Parody’ and hopes fans of EL James’ erotic romance novel get a kick out of the filthy and funny romp.

He told the Advertiser, “Audiences can expect an hour of outrageous comedy that will probably have you blushing at least once or twice.

“It’s tongue and cheek, hilarious, not a show I want my gran to see, but it’s a good night out and whether you’ve read the novel or not you won’t forget about seeing this show.” Gregor first found his passion for performing when a member of the Wee County’s Forefront Stage School.

Since graduating from Arts Educational in London, the Coalsnaughton lad has stepped out onstage as Billy Flynn in Chicago, Fiyero in Wicked, Sam in Ghost and the dad of Elle Woods in Legally Blonde.

His role in 50 Shades! The Musical will see him return north of the border and give him a chance to catch up with family and friends.

Gregor added, “I’m loving being back in Scotland and working at the Edinburgh Festival. I’m also back up at Christmas performing alongside John Barrowman and The Krankies at the SECC, playing Dandini in Cinderella.” 50 Shades! The Musical.
