The Tillycoeur Twinning Association welcomed a group from the twinned town of Crevecoeur Le Grand, Picardy, France, as part of Tillicoultry Community Week.

The four-day visit brought some new faces to Clackmannanshire and 30 people arrived to participate in a number of activities.

A welcome party was held in Tillicoultry Golf Club and guests and hosts joined together to take part in events such as a trip to Stirling and a 10 pin bowling competition.

The annual Tillycoeur Challenge Trophy was played for, the victor being the highest scoring teenager, and this was won by French visitor Patrice.

Also on the schedule was the Tilly in the Park concert, open day at Tillicoultry Retained Fire Station, a trip to Sterling Mills, The Scottish Golden Oldies Rugby Tournament hosted by Hillfoots Rugby Club and a tubing session at Firpark Ski Centre.

A farewell party at Lodge Ben Cleuch, with food from The Woolpack Inn, and entertainment from Tartan Juggler Allen Goldie rounded off the trip. The next visit in October will see a group of kids, parents and families travelling over to Crevecoeur Le Grand to participate in their third annual football tournament, along with a weekend of fun activities.

The group is open to new members from across Clackmannanshire.
