TOTS took on a sponsored walk in Clackmannanshire last week.

Mums, babies and toddlers didn't let the poor weather dampen their spirits during the fundraiser on Friday, June 9.

They gathered at Sterling Furniture in Tillicoultry in the morning, before heading along the road to Dollar and then returning to their starting point.

Ensuring the event was a colourful one, they were accompanied by balloons and many donned costumes for the occasion.

It was led by Nicola Beveridge, who runs The Daisy Foundation baby classes, along with Let's Walk Clackmannanshire and Buggy Walking Stirling.

She likes to do fundraising activities with the ladies who attend, recently raising £146 for Red Nose Day.

She decided The Big Toddle for Barnardo's would be a great opportunity to work together with the local walking groups.

She said: "It was a fantastic morning with a great turnout raising over £300 despite the weather.

"Over the last four years, we have created a community of support for our mums from pregnancy through to parenthood.

"Running events like this develop and enhance the support network while raising money for a fabulous charity."

The Big Toddle raises money for Barnardo's to allow the charity to transform the lives of vulnerable children in the UK.

Since starting in 1997, more than £14 million has been collected throughout the years.
