A CAR has been left abandoned in a ditch between Coalsnaughton and Fishcross for more than nine weeks.
The silver Vauxhall Corsa came off the road on Sunday, July 2, and has yet to be recovered by its owner.
As it has not been parked in an illegal or obstructive manner, Police Scotland says it is not in its remit to remove the unsightly vehicle.
The car has not been formally reported to Clackmannanshire Council as abandoned, but they have revealed they will be making enquiries with the police and DVLA in a bid to contact the registered keeper.
Traffic cops responded when the collision first happened and confirmed there were no injuries to the driver.
